the pedestrian naturalist: As a pedestrian naturalist, I’m an amateur in an urban setting. I have lots of observations, but not as many answers. I write about whatever I see in northeastern Colorado, whether the sky, the birds, mammals, or anything else I encounter in the natural world. Much of what I write about comes from the nature I chance upon in my yard and during daily walks around town.
